Paul Marshall of Acorn Bathrooms offered a friendly and professional service and worked with me to design the bathroom I wanted. The work was carried out efficiently and to a very high standard, nothing being too much trouble, and I am thrilled with the result. He respected my home and left everything very clean and tidy.
I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

We are particularly pleased with the bath bearing in mind the problems you had fitting it in a space with restricted access. We also think the floor tiles which you recommended are very good. Needless to say when we are in need of any additional work on our home we shall contact Acorn Bathrooms.
Paul Marshall was in charge of building a side extension to my property from November 2009 to January 2010. The extension consisted of a place for the dustbins at the front, behind that was a bathroom, with toilet, washhand basin and walk in shower and behind the bathroom a walk in cupboard with shelving connecting the extension to the kitchen and with a back door to the garden. Paul worked to an architect’s plan and the work undertaken consisted first of all of demolition of a shed with an asbestos roof, digging substantial foundations constructing breeze block walls and a slate roof with three velux windows. Work included drainage and plumbing, electrical work – lighting and a heated towel rail, carpentry which Paul undertook himself, tiling, painting and decorating.
In addition to the carpentry Paul was the project manager, costing the materials, engaging all the men, paying them and overseeing all the work ensuring that time and money were not wasted. He also ensured that he was in contact with the building inspector and that work was done to the standards required, The work was finished on time, on budget and, most importantly, to a high standard.
Personally Paul was at all times punctual, courteous, considerate cheerful and optimistic. He has a very pleasant manner, a good sense of humour and is able to manage people well and tactfully. The men he engaged to work with him have done so for many years. He took the anxiety off my shoulders and guided me through the process.
I would recommend him without reservation.

We are so happy with the cloakroom Acorn Bathrooms created in our house. It was quite a complex job but Paul put our mind at ease throughout by handling everything: efficiently organising the work to minimise the disturbance to us, using a team who were polite and punctual throughout, offering helpful design tips which have made our cloakroom feel really roomy and even liaising with the Council to ensure compliance with Building Regulations. The end result is a top-specification cloakroom installed at a very reasonable price.
